SongDao (Ming)
Name: | SongDao (Song Broad sword from Ming dynasty) |
Price: | $1350 |
This saber was originally from the Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD), which is characterized by a circular ring at the end of the hilt. However, this saber has retained its popularity throughout the centuries, and this is a variation from the turn of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (circa 16th century AD). The blade of excellent Damscene steel is a bit longer than conventional sabers and becomes thinner towards the tip. Thanks to this and longer hilt it is perfectly balanced and fits perfectly in your hand.
